Culture, Employment and Development in Academic Research Survey - CEDARS
Replacing The Careers in Research Online Survey (CROS) and the The Principal Investigators and Research Leaders Survey (PIRLS), CEDARS reflects the Principles of the revised Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, incorporating the environment, culture, professional development and employment of research staff and the experiences of their managers.
The next CEDARS benchmarking session will take place during Spring 2023. In the meantime, you can view CEDARS Aggregrate results for 2021 as well as the 2020 aggregate results as a PDF or as a PowerPoint presentation. If you are a member, you will have also have access to the imagery to use for your own slide presentations.

Demonstrating impact
The inaugural Vitae Impact, Culture and Engagement (ICE) Awards celebrate and amplify the impactful and innovative work being done by the researcher development community. The awards are in response to insights gained through the Researcher development strategy, provision, and profession survey 2022, member community forums, the Vitae International Recognition Awards (VIRA) project, and the reward and recognition discussions at the Vitae conference 2022.
