Researcher Development Concordat: platform of practice

Researcher Development Concordat

Following the launch in 2019 of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers, commonly known as the Researcher Development Concordat, the Concordat Strategy Group (CSG) committed to the creation of a practice-sharing platform. The aims of the platform are to share practice, encourage engagement and inspire change and innovation in achieving the Principles of the Researcher Development Concordat.

Vitae have been tasked with gathering examples of good practice from across the higher education sector and sharing these those responsible for delivering on the Researcher Development Concordat's aims.

We welcome examples of good practice from your organisation relating to the implementation of the Concordat Principles. We aim to gather as many varied examples as possible across different contexts and stakeholders including researchers, managers of researchers, institutions and funders. Examples should include some form of evaluation to demonstrate their impact.

We warmly encourage you to be amongst the initial contributors to the platform and to submit your good-practice proposals via our proposal form. The platform will be a ‘living’ digital library that will grow and develop over time. Initially however, we are inviting proposals in time for the launch of the platform during Vitae Connections Week.

When live, users will be able to search for examples of good practice using a variety of filter functions and tags
