Taylor & Francis sponsor Vitae 3MT® 2019


We are delighted to announce that Taylor & Francis will be sponsoring the Vitae Three Minute Thesis® (3MT) competition for 2019 and very much look forward to working together again. Developed by the University of Queensland, Australia, the competition challenges  6 finalists selected from more than 1,200 doctoral candidates to present their research in just three minutes.

The live final takes place at the Vitae Researcher Development International Conference on Monday 16 September 2019 in front of over 400 conference participants.

Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2019

The programme timings for the Vitae Researcher Development International conference 2019 have been set. Workshop A will take take place straight after lunch this year with the half plenary sessions taking place later in the afternoon. Dinner in the evening will include, for the first time, a poster prize. 

Look out for plenary presentation speakers to be announced soon.

Concordat Writing Group update

Chair of the Concordat Writing Group, Dianne Berry, has provided a useful update about the progress made around drafting the revised Concordat. She said:

"We have now drafted some revised principles, together with explanatory text, and are currently finessing these, in addition to thinking about the various expectations for the key stakeholders. This will then go to the Concordat Strategy Group for their consideration and feedback"
