3 Minute Thesis UK Final 2014
We invite expressions of interest from UK institutions for the UK Final 2014 competition, to be hosted by Vitae and the University of York at the Vitae annual conference in September 2014.
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland which challenges postgraduate research students to present a compelling oration on their thesis and its significance in just three minutes in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
How to apply?
UK HEIs are asked to register* their interest before 1st November 2013 by completing an online form. Students should contact their home institutions to enquire about local 3MT competitions.
*Registering your interest does not commit your institution to participating, nor does it secure a place at the final competition. This is to gauge the level of interest and determine if semi-finals need to be conducted.
