Cancer Research UK - new Concordat signatory
" Cancer Research UK is committed to supporting the careers of researchers in our institutes and funded through our grants. We want to make the UK an even more attractive place for cancer researchers to build their career, and the Concordat plays an important part in this. We are looking forward to working with the other signatories and supporters of the Concordat to put its principles into action."
Dr Iain Foulkes, Executive Director of Strategy and Research Funding, Cancer Research UK
The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers is an agreement between the funders and employers of researchers in the UK, setting out the expectations and responsibilities of each stakeholder in researcher careers: researchers, their managers, employers and funders. Vitae leads on the management and the implementation of the Concordat.
