Employabilty for researchers

reSEARCH careers: ideas, information and inspiration for researchers and employers

Researchers from across the South West and Wales region were treated to a packed day at the University of Bristol's Victoria rooms and were able to:

take part in a range of employability workshops ranging from writing a CV, self marketing, what to expect in an assessment centre, how to be wired for work (making sure your digital identity is appropriate and working for you)

hear from a range of PhD alumni who are working in a range of sectors and jobs

talk to a range of employers about what they were looking for in employees and discuss how they might fit in

discuss their options in one-to-one sessions with careers advisors
