Indi Seehra becomes new Chair of the CRAC Board of Trustees
CRAC, Vitae's parent organisation is pleased to announce that Indi Seehra, Director of Human Resources at the London School of Economics and Political Science, will take over as Chair of the CRAC Board of Trustees with immediate effect.
CRAC would like to thank Sir Richard Sykes, Chairman of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, for leading the Board since October 2008.
CRAC, the independent organisation dedicated to supporting career development and active, career-related learning, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. CRAC is a registered UK charity and has been operating since 1964.
"I am delighted to take over as Chair of CRAC, particularly at a time when careers are changing rapidly and there is a growing global interest in how we best support researchers’ careers – an area in which CRAC has world-class expertise through the Vitae programme. I look forward to working with the Board of Trustees and CRAC team to continue to expand the very valuable work undertaken."
