Nature masterclasses confirmed as sponsor of 'Developing the next generation of research leaders'
We are thrilled to confirm that Nature Masterclasses has become the official sponsor of 'Developing the next generation of research leaders' event, which will take place in London on the 26 January.
This one-day event will explore improving efficiency and effectiveness in the development of the next generation of early career researchers and academics as research leaders.
Nature Masterclasses provides online and face-to-face training in scientific writing and publishing. The training is aimed at researchers of all levels within the natural sciences, and delivered by editors at the Nature journals.
The face-to-face training consists of half- to three-day workshops, which are available to institutions globally and tailored to suit the discipline and experience of the researchers taking part.
The online training consists of fifteen modules of engaging videos and exercises – plus live video events. Modules include: “Plagiarism”, “Data Presentation”, “The Editorial Process” and “Writing a Review”.
In both the online and face-to-face training, researchers learn practical techniques for scientific writing and gain a first-hand insight into the manuscript-selection process, directly from editors at the Nature journals.
By organising a workshop or access to the online course, institutions and faculties can support their researchers’ professional development and improve the quality of their scientific publication output.

Services complementing the training include: NPG Language Editing and MSC Scientific Editing.
