New Every Researcher Counts materials announced

07/04/2014

As part of the Every Researcher Counts project Vitae recently held three train the trainer style workshops in London and Sheffield for researcher developers, equality and diversity practitioners and senior and research managers. The days enabled participants to fully understand the Every Researcher Counts materials and consider how they could be embedded within their own institutions.  All the workshops proved to be extremely popular, and Vitae will be repeating these workshops in other regions later in the year.

Vitae have been working with Equality Challenge Unit to add to the Every Researcher Counts suite of resources and are developing information sheets around the individual scenarios which will assist practitioners in using them and provide the expert opinion.

Alongside this, a new reflective resource for research staff is currently being developed which will encourage individuals to reflect on their own needs around equality and diversity.

We have also launched the bookings for the next Every Researcher Counts Conference. The event will take place on the 26 June in Edinburgh.
