Following sector feedback via the survey and specialist input from the Equality Challenge Unit, an updated version of the Researcher Development Framework is now available. The Researcher Development Statement, now endorsed by over 30 key UK organisations, remains unchanged.

'Mapping training and development provision to the Researcher Development Framework' describes the methodology that Vitae has developed to map learning materials and programmes to the Researcher Development Framework.

The report summarises the results of the recent survey that reviewed HEIs' initial responses, activities and future plans related to their implementation of the Researcher Development Framework.

For researchers

An updated version of the 'Professional Development Planner' and an accompanying 'Screencast' are now available. The planner enables researchers to identify areas for professional development, create an action plan and record evidence of their progress. The screencast has been recorded to take users through the process of using the RDF Personal Development Planner, highlighting the 'How to' guide, the report function and useful resources.
