STEM Disability Committee is collecting stories of researchers with disabilities

04/08/2014

The STEM Disability Committee  (of which the Royal Society is a core member) is keen to highlight and share the stories of those who love studying or working in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and also have a disability.  If that is you, write a short piece (around 400 words) for their website to share your STEM story.

In particular, in your piece it would be interesting to hear:

  • What you enjoy about studying or working in STEM?
  • What you do day-to-day in your work or study?
  • What has been your biggest challenge and how have you overcome it?
  • What has been the highlight of your career so far and/or what are you hoping to go on to do in the future?

If you are happy to do so, your name and a photograph along with your written piece.
