The role of the doctorate in professional careers

The conference, organised by Adoc Talent Management, will be held at the Universite Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris on 15 December 2014 and will be delivered in French and English. Presentations will examine the doctorate as a career strategy and as a means of gaining professional experience and training, plus doctoral graduate career paths. Organisers would like to hear from doctoral candidates or graduates involved in a reflective process, those conducting research on the doctorate or working to improve conditions for researchers.

Contributors will be invited to give a 20 minute presentation to be followed by 10 minute discussion-time. Deadline extended to 21 November - details are available on the conference website (in French).
