Vitae launches a new RDF training resource - Vitae RDF Development Cards
We are very excited to be announcing the launch of the Vitae RDF Development Cards.
The cards have been designed to support researchers with identifying their skills and planning their professional development. They are based on the Vitae Researcher Development Framework and they have been specifically designed to support researchers in trying to become more self-aware and answer questions like:
- Where do my interests lie?
- What do I enjoy doing?
- How do I develop in areas required for the next step of my career?
- How do I give evidence of my skills to employers?
In the pack you'll get 82 laminated cards including... A4 image of the RDF, 63 RDF descriptor cards, 12 sub-domain cards and 6 suggested activities. These activities show how the cards could be used in practice.
Who are the cards for?
Researchers themselves or anyone working with them on their professional development including:
- Researchers
- Trainers
- Researcher developers
- Careers advisors
- PIs
- Supervisors
- Team leaders
The cards have been officially introduced at the Vitae Research Staff Conference on 7 November 2013 and they're now available for sale at a special introductory rate of £45 + VAT. You can find out more about the cards here.
