Exploring wellbeing and mental health and associated support services for postgraduate researchers

Crucial key messages have emerged from the 'exploring wellbeing and mental health and associated services for postgraduate researchers' (PGRs) report that was published this morning.

The report, which has been led by Vitae and commissioned by the former Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE, now Research England) contains recommendations including a specific set for institutions around strategies; procedures; training; monitoring and resourcing for prevention and early intervention.

Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2018 First keynote speaker announced

We are delighted to welcome Professor David Bogle, Chair of the Concordat Independent Expert Review Panel, as a keynote speaker at this year's Vitae Researcher Development International conference. David will be revealing the recommendations of the 10 year review of the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers.

Our deadline for submitting a workshop proposal for the conference is now just under 3 weeks away - Monday 4 June.  If you have an idea for presenting a 55 or 80 minute workshop that addresses at least one of the workshop themes, we want to hear from you.


Academic Professional Apprenticeships Standard discussions at London Member regional seminar

The London member regional seminar  will take place on Wednesday 4 July 2018 at Queen Mary University of London. The theme will be the Academic Professional Apprenticeships Standard - which was approved just last week.
