We are delighted to launch the Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2018 taking place 17-18 September in Birmingham. This truly global event is aimed at all those with a strategic and practical role in developing researchers and includes a mix of topical key note speakers; practical workshops; special interest sessions; exhibition stands with a poster display; and of course the exhilarating Vitae 3MT® competition, sponsored by Taylor & Francis.

Our member only 3-for-2 early bird rates are excellent value and valid until 31 July 2018.

 Call for content

Our conference call for content is also now open for workshops, special interest sessions and poster submissions. Discounted conference attendance rates are available to those whose submissions are selected. 
Workshop proposals are an opportunity for a session of 55 or 80 minutes encompassing at least one of the specified workshop themes with an emphasis on innovative practice, evidence and impact. The deadline for submitting a workshop proposal is 4 June 2018.
Special Interest Sessions (SIS) relate to at least one of the workshop themes, should be a specialist topic of interest or have a more commercial focus and should last 20 minutes.The deadline for submitting an SIS is 23 July 2018.
Posters must also relate to one of the workshop themesshowcase innovative practice or research and encourage plenty of discussion and interest amongst the participants during the networking breaks. The deadline for submitting a poster is 23 July 2018. 
We would welcome hearing from those with diffferent international perspectives.
