This morning, Professor Julia Buckingham CBE, Chair of the Concordat Strategy Group and Vice-Chancellor and President of Brunel University London, launched the new Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers at the Universities UK (UUK) Annual Members' Conference.

To be commonly known as the Researcher Development Concordat, its publication marks a significant point in the history of career development for researchers and will serve as a living, adaptable part of our future.

Clare Viney, CEO of CRAC, welcomed the launch and committed the support of the Vitae programme, saying: “Working with all stakeholders we look forward to helping create the healthy and supportive environment in which researchers can thrive and flourish". More can be in read Clare's reaction blog.
