Vitae Researcher Development International Conference 2019 - one month left for discount rates


There is only one month to go until the end of Early Bird and 3-for-2 rates for the Vitae Researcher Development Conference 2019.

Members can save £215 per person by booking the 3-for-2 compared to the standard rates  that will be applicable after 31 July.

3MT® competition deadline


Video entries for the Vitae 3MT® competition, sponsored by Taylor & Francis, should be submitted to us to by Friday 5th July.

The judging will take place during July and August and the six finalists who will present at the Vitae conference will be announced by mid August.

Concordat to Support the Development of Researchers: update

Professor Julia Buckingham, CBE, Chair of Concordat Strategy Group, and Vice-Chancellor and President at Brunel University, London has provided a new update relating to the Concordat Writing Group's progress of the review of the Concordat. The final publication will be ready for the new academic year.

IP for research: realising your impact

In collaboration with the UK Intellectual Property Office, we will be hosting a live-lecture on Tuesday 17 July at 12-1pm (UK time). 

The event is for anyone who is interested in learning more about protecting their research, working or studying at a university or research institute and will cover:
 

- Learning the basics of Intellectual Property (IP),
- Exploring the different types of IP you could be creating as a researcher
- Understanding when you might need to speak to an IP expert at your university

New Chair of CRAC Board of Trustees announced

The Careers Research & Advisory Centre (CRAC) Ltd, the not for profit charitable organisation that manages the Vitae programme, welcomes the appointment of Drs. Astrid Wissenburg as Chair of the Board of Trustees.
