'Fringe' activities - beyond the boundaries of the official four-day event - so far include UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) focus groups, an Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) training event and exhibitor-led sessions, the majority being held on Wednesday afternoon, after the excitement of the 3MT® competition final. The UK Research Staff Association (UKRSA) are holding a Twitter chat on Tuesday 8 September from 12-1pm GMT +1, as a fringe activity in the run-up to #VitaeCon2020. The chat will engage with other researcher networks and researchers and specifically looking at the move to undertaking research online/remotely, sharing lockdown experiences, online networking tips, connecting within and beyond research communities.
