Vitae Connections Week 2020 - #VitaeCon2020


With less than a week to go before #VitaeCon2020, the final preparations are being made and we look forward to welcoming you next week! 

For those of you who have booked a ticket, you will have received your virtual participant pack signposting you to the variety of activities that will be taking place during the week and  encouraging you to sign up for the live parallel sessions and exhibition and roundtable session of your choice.  

Please note that sign-ups for the roundtable sessions need to be made by 12.30pm GMT +1 on Monday 14 September. 
 
As an event participant you will automatically be emailed the relevant links to watch and vote for the Vitae 3MT® competition 2020, sponsored by Taylor & Francis, held as a virtual final on Wednesday 16 September at 12pm GMT+1. We are opening up the 3MT® People's Choice vote this year so do share these separate registration details to all researchers and doctoral candidates within your networks so that they can join in the suspense of the event!

If you are from a Vitae member organisation and not yet booked a ticket, there is still time to secure free member access to: 
  


 

  • the exhibition showcasing useful products and services relevant to researcher development. 
  • networking opportunities with the community via the event app  

If you would like to take up this opportunity, you will need to book the ‘exhibition, posters and networking session’ ticket from the booking options. 

 

 

 

There is still time to still book a full Vitae Connections Week paid ticket giving you access to all areas of the event including live plenary sessions each day. A full access ticket is just £150 (ex. VAT) for members or £250 (ex. VAT) for non-members and will give you the opportunity to: 

 

  • explore the live 22 parallel sessions from the community 
  • access the 27 ‘on demand’ items of content 
  • join the exhibition roundtable discussions 
  • watch and vote in the Vitae 3MT® competition 
  • meet the community in the networking area 
  • visit the exhibition halls 
  • view the exhibitor leaflets 
  • visit the Vitae Zone for latest information 
  • access to the fringe sessions
