Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) update  

We have reached the exciting stage of the Vitae 3MT® competition when we announce our six finalists. Join us to watch the final, which will be broadcast online on Thursday 15 September at 12:00pm (GMT+1). 

The remaining inspiring entries, each of which won their institutional 3MT® competition, can be viewed now on the Vitae website.  

If you have already registered for #VitaeCon2022 you will automatically be registered to the 3MT® platform that will host the final, giving you the opportunity to vote for the People’s Choice Award. For those not attending #VitaeCon2022, you can register for free on the competition platform. We welcome all researchers and those with an interest in research communication, please share this invitation widely with your peers and networks and encourage them to attend what is set to be another thrilling and inspiring final.

Vitae International Researcher Developer Conference 2022

The in person element of #VitaeCon2022 is almost sold out with fewer than 20 tickets remaining - book now to secure your place. This aspect of the conference has a focus on networking, deeper discussion and socialising and will take place on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 September.

Take a look at the online agenda for the latest updates on speakers and workshops, for which you can now ‘save a seat’ in advance. We are delighted to announce that our latest speakers include Dr Steve Cummings, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Research,Teeside University and Hilary Noone, Research & Innovation Culture Lead for UKRI. They will be speaking in plenary two about Concordat implementation: Successes and systemic issues, taking place on Tuesday 13 September 2022, 13:45-14:45 GMT+1.

 

Developing and sustaining effective researcher networks webinar 

Join this open access panel, discussing the soon-to-be-launched ‘Developing and sustaining effective researcher networks toolbox’ resource and share experiences of setting up and sustaining researcher networks.

This webinar will be taking place on Thursday 15 September, 09:30-10:30 GMT +1 and is open to anyone with an interest in researcher networks. It is ideally timed on the same day as 3MT® final to allow researchers to participate in both events.
