Social Enterprise

A social enterprise experiential learning session and case study, developed by Vitae and the University of the West of England.

The social enterprise resources include a 3 hour experiential learning activity and a 2 hour case study activity. The sessions can be delivered separately or together, or as part of a longer course, such as a GRADschool.

The 'Common Good' activity focuses on the identification of and possible solutions to societal and/or environmental problems in a framework that could feasibly be run as a social enterprise. The case study activity uses a real life example of a social enterprise to focus on the practical elements of setting up and running a sustainable business.

This resource has been delevloped for use with doctoral candidates, but may be suitable for use with other audiences.
